You know you are on a diet when...
1. You wish you had bought a larger fridge 2. You start haggling with your weighing scale3. You reason that your weight is more because it includes the weight of the clothes you are wearing...and you actually validate this theory (try this only at home!)4. You wonder why you have a cook since you call her in the evening and tell her "kal mat aana, khana hai" a bit too oftenAND last but not the least5. You start having bowel movements only alternate days

A big fridge is needed when you eat a lot and therefore store enuf food for your large appetite. On a diet one of those little hotel room mini-bars would do.

You need to change your perspective. We are having a gharelu discussion not a gharelu argument. Btw, do i know you... it does seem that you know us..
I will move in with you guys, and then there will be no more left overs and no more need for a bigger fridge and no more holiday for the cook. The weight issue might remain constant though.
