The Electric Chair

Today is Gandhi Jayanti, the day Gandhiji was born. And today is also the day I shifted into my new home. Sorry Gandhiji for the coincidence, but my place is not going to be as pious as yours. Theres going to be alcohol, theres going to be non veg food and chastity?..... forget it! Now my mom tells me that last year also I'd shifted house on Gandhi jayanti! So my previous post is wrong; its not 1 year and 9 days, its exactly one year! What is it with me and Gandhiji. Which reminds me of that fashion show which happened in office a few days back. We have this cultural week every year, the high point of which is the fashion show. Couple of people came and said we need a guy to play Gandhiji, and whos better than you! Cool. They got me a hired costume, which consisted of a dhoti, a stick, and spectacles. Well, you dont get too many chances to go around half naked in office ;) And guess what? I got the best prize for best costume. And I'm like what costume? Well its hardly surprising. We all knew that the best fashion models are those who expose the most ;) Will post photo of the same soon.

Well back to my house shifting, it went off pretty cool. Those packers are really fast!! Packing, moving and unpacking (i.e. the stuff apart from whats in my suitcases) all over in just 4 hours! And after that I went and did a lot of shopping. Bought 6 shirts and 1 trouser for just 3100 bucks, cool na? And I bought curtains for the entire house and 6 glasses and 6 beer mugs! Also enquired about a double bed and a sofa in one shop, but these things are quite expensive... will buy them soon tho.

Am waiting for a friend to pick me up now, and will go party at some friend's place most probs.
